Passport Into Beta

In order to join Beta Club, a person must have a high GPA. If a person joins the Beta Club, they will receive a certificate of membership. This, in which, could be hung in a picture frame, or used for showboating. Also, this certificate can be illustrated in a portfolio. Of course, this membership can help this student in three ways: (1) to get acceptance into college, (2) to meet new people, and (3) to get involved in valuable community service!

Pin and Card

The next thing that an active member will receive is a membership card with a membership label pin to go with it. Members have to be asked to join the Beta Club. Qualifications include having a very high grade point average and, in some schools, the student has to have proven himself or herself to be a very ethical person. So, if a student has been caught cheating, he or she will be unable to join the Beta Club in some schools across the United States.

Other Benefits

The member will also recieve recognition for achievement in this organization. This gives the member opportunities to compete in national and state Beta Club conventions, attend the Broyhill Leadership Conference, attend the National Beta Club Leadership Academy, as well as being nominated for over $250,000,000 in scholarship money!
