Mission Statement: To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.

Hardaway High School Beta Club is part of the National Beta Club, which is the nation's largest independent, non profit educational youth organization. This organization is commited to recognizing and promoting high academic achievement, rewarding and nurturing worthy character, fostering leadership skills and encouraging service to others. This club has worked with many young students from grades 5-9, which is the Junior Beta Club, and grades 10-12, which is the Senior Beta Club. There are more than 420,000 active members and more than 8,000 clubs nationwide and throughout the world.

Service to others is one of the most important characteristics of the Beta Club. Each member is required to do at least four hours of community service each month. Opportunities to serve are found in every school or community. All chapters that send in their hours of community service will recieve a certificate of participation in the fall.
